Key Clubs are made up of High School age volunteers and are sponsored by their local Kiwanis clubs. They are mentored in generating their own community service projects as well as assisting in some of the Kiwanis of West San jose projects.

Eliminate Project
Celebration photo aknowledging Kiwanis International has achieved $110 million in pledges for the Eliminate Project, to eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus in babies. Once implemented, vacines will save over 34,000 children per year from death. Kiwanis of West San Jose alone has raised $40,000 in funds for this program.
Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley
Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley in the Edenvale area of San Jose, is supported financially and with both tutoring and repair services as needed.
Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley
Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley project team, 2015. This unique project included renovation of kitchen, exterior siding replacement and painting of Casa de Clara, a San Jose women and children homeless shelter. For more info, visit casadeclara.org and rebuildingtogethersv.org
The K-Bell Classic
The K-Bell Classic annual open track meet for SFO bay area high schools. This event generally hosts over 2000 High School athletes each year. This event was created by Kiwanis of West San Jose and Bellarmine High School, to raise money to fund College Scholarships in our Turn-Around scholarship program. We typically provide 25 scholarships each year through our fundraising efforts such as this event.
Builders Club
Kiwanis Mentor Everett showcasing a Kiwanis Builders Club T shirt for the Burbank School group in San Jose, CA. Builders Clubs are active in elementary schools supported by Kiwanis and work to foster community service as a way of life for students.
Burbank Pantry
Setting up for the Kiwanis bi-weekly Burbank Pantry food giveaway program for needy families, operated in concert with Second Harvest Food Bank.
Justins House
Justins House" of Santa Clara provides a variety of services that inspire youth to live beyond abuse and addiction. They honor individuality, promote healing, nuture potential, encourage growth and restore dignity within a safe and honest environment.
