Kiwanis improves the world by making lasting differences
in the lives of children.
The Kiwanis Club of West San Jose is part of an international service organization with clubs in 80 countries. Kiwanis help kids around the world. Local clubs like ours look out for our communities, and the international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as disease and poverty.
For more than a century, Kiwanis has created opportunities for children to be curious, safe and healthy regardless of the community in which they live.
The “Kiwanis New Years Resolution Race” event is produced by the Kiwanis Club of West San Jose. Proceeds will help our club support many projects, primarily in the San Jose and Silicon Valley area. We provide funding and thousands of service hours to local causes such as Via West Camp for special needs youth, Our City Forest, Food Pantries, Loaves and Fishes, the Boys & Girls Clubs and Rebuilding Together. We provide college scholarships to disadvantaged High School graduate students and sponsor Key Clubs at several local high schools. See some examples in the “Some of our Projects” submenu.
